Default 2002 Corvette Assistance Apprecisted

Need Assistance

2002 Corvette problem.

an alert showing the ABS and a picture of a car skidding lit up on

What are your thoughts and solutions? Inputs are appreciated!!
  1. Could it be the small computer (located under the hood near front of engine) which activates the ABS or a solenoid sticking sometimes?
  2. If the computer are they still making them? If so where can I get and cost?
  3. Would the module off of a wreck be ok?
  4. should I replace the computer?

Most likely a problem with the ABS. You want to pull the codes by accessing them on the DIC. If you are unfamiliar with how to do this you can find the procedure under the sticky notes at the top of the general section. It will be in a sticky close to the bottom of the stickies that references “buying a C5” or something close to that.
If it is the ABS module it can easily be repaired on a 2002 by sending it to “ABS fixer”. I did the same and he is reasonable and provides a quick turnaround. You can find more about him and the issue with a search on the forum.
