Default Proper AC pressures

Just replaced orifice, compressor, and accumulator. Evacuated and held vacuum for 24 hours. Added 24 oz (small cans) to system then started put AC in high and left in idle. These pressures shown are 2 days hence. Are they appropriate? It does blow cold air 50-55 degrees F

36 in the low side 275 on the high side.

You need to know the temp and humidity first.

You did not state your current temp/humidity conditions. Total 134a capacity is 28 oz., so you are 4oz short. Did you compensate for the can weight? Did you add oil ?

FYI…capacity for a 1998 is 1.625 lbs (26 oz)….OP is 2 oz short but I personally wouldn’t sweat 2 oz !!…you know I don’t like misinformation !!…a 1997 is 1.63 lbs and a 2001 is 1.50 lbs for instance…year matters.

Your pressures are pretty much spot on for that temp/humidity. Not far off for the outlet temp too.

With that in mind, one should bear in mind that R134 cans vary, both in can weight and fill levels. On my last charge I used a HF digital gram scale to weigh each can before and after dispensing, wanting to track my overall fill level. New cans varied by a half ounce or so, empty ones by a smaller fraction. Bucket of quite warm water made getting the refrigerant into the system much easier. Another pressure chart that works with R134 systems:

You also have to put your hand on the line coming out of the evaporator coil and make sure that it's cold. If it's not, you're not charged up enough. You want to be evaporating fluid all the way at the end of the coil. If you don't there's bypass air not getting chilled and dried
