Default C6 Pan

Going to a C6 pan, do I need a different oil pickup tube?

I am thinking not as the depth on either car would be no lower due to crossmember and road clearance. But I still thought I should verify.

GM #12624497 is supposedly for all the C5 and wet sump C6 Corvettes. Why are you switching to the C6 pan? Do you need the room for turbos?

Thanks for the confirmation.

Yes, with the Huron kit it needs the open geography to accommodate piping and turbo placement. I've already had drains welded to the new pan in prep. It seems fate (work demands) is conspiring to prevent me from finishing drilling the manifolds and welding the EGTs in to send them off to swain tech. That is a time based limiting factor for the build. Once the pipes come back everything can accelerate again in leaps and bounds.
