I'd like to have the problematic shift cable here in case it breaks on me at the wrong time...And do I order just the cable or I've read about some bushings ? Any help would be much appreciated, even knowing the best place to order it from....
Thanks in advance, Mark.
I just had mine changed and I got it from Parts Geek, part # Wo133-2045 849. All I needed was the cable and it comes with the bushings, it's a GM part.

DefaultThat cable housing is going to be brittle and VERY easy to break the cable housing at the shifter side if you deflect it more than the tiniest bit. I would replace it. I would also consider an insulated tunnel plate while it's all apart.
