Cigarette Lighter Disconnecting Behind Dash

Cigarette Lighter Disconnecting Behind Dash
I seem to keep running into an issue with the backside of the cigarette lighter (harness/clip) coming off behind the dash randomly. It will work for a few days then stop, thats when I know it has came off because my phone charger light doesn't light up. I then have to remove the entire center console, to reattach it. Then after a few days, it will do it again.
Does anyone know of a permanent fix that I could DIY at home? I was thinking connect it, then use black electrical tape and taping it to itself, but I wanted to check with you all to see if there was a better way to handle this without buying new wiring or a new cigarette lighter port.
