Default Need help with radio install

Last year i removed the factory radio and installed this double din atoto a6, hated it, no android auto and lowsy sound, used the ax-adct4 and xsvI-2004 to ease install but definitely sounded worse than factory radio, but love having a rear camera

I bought another newer atoto that was going to go in my 95 camaro but have decided to sell it and want to use the radio in the vette. It has android auto and thought since they are only a couple of years apart should be a fast swap, wrong, they use another type of harnesses.

Now I can't get the radio to power up, I have power to the 12v constant battery power, but get no power to the 12v accessory red wires. Any experienced installers know where i should start my trouble shooting? I also dont remember what this is supposed to be hooked up to, for some reason i think it is not used anymore

Okay, you are not going to want to hear this, but that is a very low end H/U and using two adapters could easily cause poor sound/failed operation. Recommend that you find a better quality H/U with the features you want and use the XSVI adapter. And yes, that connector is for the serial bus and is not used. Good luck.

What you'll find is that there is no "accessory" power wires behind the head unit, as baffling and amazing as that may seem. There is a small bundle of wires in the passenger footwell, above and to the left side, and this is where you'll find that ignition-switched power that you're looking for. A forum search on that will help you out - some folks have even posted photos.

p.s. I run an Atoto and I like it quite a bit - a lot of features for the $
