I live in Poland, I own a 2003 Corvette C5 manual, and I need to replace the sway bar bushings. Unfortunately, only 19mm sway bar bushings are available in my country, while my swaybar is 18mm thick. RockAuto also doesn't have the correct size, only 19mm and 22mm. What could be the reason that my car has this size stabilizer? Where can I buy the correct 18mm bushings?

Do you know which suspension you have? If not..............
1) Measure the rear sway bar with a caliper
2) Take a picture of the service parts identification label, which shows your RPO codes. It is located in the glovebox. Looks like below....

I don't know what suspension I have, but it's definitely not magnetic ride. Today, I measured the sway bar, and it turned out to be 17mm. I also include a photo of the label in the glowbox.

Perhaps the previous owner installed C6 sway bars? If so, the rear would measure 17.5 mm and the front 25.5mm.
The front sway bar is 23mm, which seems standard for the C5 Base. I found information in another thread that C5s from 2003 and 2004 had versions with 17.5mm (https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...5-or-19mm.html), but I couldn't find any confirmation of this information anywhere. I'm now wondering whether to look for the standard 19mm sway bar from the C5 Base or to search for 17.5mm sway bar bushings from the C6."

Yes, the C5 with the F55 suspension did have a 17.5mm rear bar, but your car was delivered with base FE1 suspension.

I have no more ideas.
Ok, I have clarity now, I just need to try and find 17.5mm sway bar bushings. Unfortunately, they are not available in Poland, and the only store I know in the USA that ships to Poland is RockAuto. Maybe you know of another store that would have such bushings?"

Do you happen to have any friends/relatives in the US, who would accept a shipment from a US based supplier, and then forward the shipment to you, in Poland?

Just a thought.....
I have a friendly company here that has a branch in the USA. They collect packages there and send them to Poland, so if you give me the details of a reliable online store in the USA, I think I can manage it. I’ll just have to calculate whether the cost of the entire operation won’t exceed the cost of switching to a 19mm sway bar (I can buy one here in Poland, and the sway bar bushings 19mm for it are also available here).
