I voted for the TPIS obviously, because they are what I have. As far as peformance goes, it can be argued as to which is better and why. My reasoning for choosing the ones I did was because I heard nothing but good things about them on the forum and they were in my price range. Good luck in your hunt. You won't be disappointed once you get a set on.
I vote for the FLP's. True bolt-on and not too bad to install. The offroad pipes, high flow cats and X-pipe that are included make them a great choice.

:iagree:
I looked around and FLP seemed to be a popular choice.
BPP one piece version for me. The stepped design is especially smoothe with my H/C and ATI set up. I think the price scares some off, but the product is finished first rate with no splatters and seemless coating inside and out, top to bottom. However, my tuner said they are very "fun" to put on but they like them as well.
I currently live and work in Germay as a Defense Contractor for the US Army and I'm running the FLP, Longe Tube Header System (with High Flow CATs and X-Pipe) hooked up to B&B Tri-Flow exhaust system on my 1999 C5 Coupe
(6 Speed). They were easy to install (4.5 hours - complete, and I did it myself with one other person). I've gotten real good preformance out of them and like them a lot (looks and preformanc).
We get to drive at speeds up to 150 - 175 mph over here on the Autobahns (without getting a ticket) and I can really tell the difference in preformance with the FLP Headers installed.
I did have one minor problem with the mounting flange on the collectors. I had to have both "Collector Flanges" rewelded becasue of cracks around the factory welds. Other than that one minnor problem the FLP's have preformed as advertised and sound great.
They're a lot of good headers on the market and it would be hard to say which one is better that another. . . . I just happen to like FLP's and they work great. No matter which brand you decide on make sure you go with "Long Tube Headers" if you want real preformance.
Good luck. . . . you'll notice the difference when you get yours intalled.

Re: Best Headers??? (Alex03)
This topic has been beat to death, and in the final analysis, If you want Stainless steel quality, and the most HP, then our LG 32" long tubes are the only way to go. Removable 3" cats, and "X" pipe, with racing "Merge" collectors. NO welding required, and includes the complete system from engine to Cat Back mufflers.
We have gone through 3 rivisions to eliminate the early teething problems, but those are all cured now. And there is a waiting list, so not everyone will get them on a minutes notice. And they are NOT cheap, but they are the BEST value for your dollar in the long run.
If you want thin, coated mild steel, in whatever flavor, then there are plenty of other options.
The second choice would be the Stainless Works, for the 304 stainless quality.
Every option is better than a stock manifold, it is just your choice on how much you want to spend.

Thanks,

I would want stainless at least. David Farmer recommended them too. I got mine for free but these look like nice pieces when I upgrade. After HANS CAGES and the rest of the mile long list.
Well, I got burned once ($2200.00) with LG Long Tube Headers and I'm not ready to take another bit in the wallet for headers that leaked, and didn't fit. Maybe the "3 rivisions" of these headers did eliminate the early teething problems, but it didn't do much to solve my $2200.00 problem.
