Headlight gears stripped
My right headlight gear is stripped and I can't get the headlight up to replace. I've tried everything I know to do to get it up, no luck. I've searched corvette forum, tried the different methods, still nothing. I feel like the only way will be to remove the front bumper for better access.

Did you try pulling up on the housing while twisting the **** to spin the gear by hand? This method worked for me in the same scenario. Without removing the bumper.

even tried pulling up with someone under the car pushing up on the light while I turned the gear, no luck.
