Hey all, been tracking my C5Z and I'd like to get a catch can. I was gonna hand over the wad of cash for an Improved Racing unit, but stumbled across the Speed Engineering example...

Looks like there's some other exact offerings elsewhere online. Anyone used these? Obviously the IR is gonna be nicer but, I mean, really - it's just a catch can.

Their listing says it's an open can without any baffling. It probably isn't going to be very effective. Also, those oil level sight glass tubes never seem last. They always crack and start leaking within a couple of years. I know it's cheap but you'll probably be wasting your money and end up having to get something else later.
You're absolutely correct, and I've since gone down the infamous catch can rabbit hole. It seems that for street cars, it's really not necessary. But for track cars, it's probably a good idea. Unfortunately, my car is both - I like to hit the track once a month but also drive it at least a couple days a week. Too bad there's no straight answer!
