I bought my ‘04z about 2 1/2 years ago with 39k miles on it. I just disassembled the drivetrain to inspect the components and replace a couple of things. I THOUGHT that everything was stock but I found a LUK clutch in it. I’m ASSuming that this was replaced along the way? The clutch still looks almost brand new with just over 44k miles on it. Can anyone confirm for me that this wouldn’t have been a factory install?
As always, thank you in advance for your responses.
Also, I pulled the flywheel thinking I had a rear main seal leak. But nope. It looks like my leak is from the upper oil pan section, no???
Okay! So maybe this is original and maybe it was replaced along the way. I suspected that this car had a pretty easy life. This discovery may help to confirm that.

Is the engine out of the car?? If not how did you get the bell cover off that protects the clutch?? Or im i not seeing this right??
Change the rear main seal and the engine plate while your in there. Low miles is good but irrevalent, the car and parts are 20-21 yrs old. Torque tube rubber parts too.

Rear engine seals, for certain. The main reason I went down this road was that I expected that the torque tube couplers were bad. I was quite surprised to discover that everything inside the torque tube looks brand new. The couplers have zero signs of wear, cracking, or deformation. I’m definitely returning the new ones I bought instead of replacing these.

My car had 34k miles on it when I bought it. I thought having low miles would mean less maintenance for awhile. When I started tracking it the old age started showing through. Clutch hydrualics failed, seals leaked, etc.
