Default '04 oil pan

Anyone out there that can supply the correct part # for an '04 oil pan. eBay/Amazon show different OEM part #s, is that due to the oil pans are the same for 97-04 just different part #s for each model year

I see 12561828, which appears to be the bat wing pan for an LS6.

I suspect the early pan is discontinued but definitely don't take my word for it.

I have another part # from a pan on eBay: 12557848, so I’m not sure if this will do, same pan different #.

Have you considered calling(or visiting) your local dealership to get the latest part number?

There were 2 versions of the batwing; 1 piece, and 2 piece. My 2000 came with the 2 piece. I THINK the 2 piece is the later pan, but am not certain
