So I am currently in the process of swapping my c5 to a manual and im looking for a particular piece regarding the shift linkage. So I just bought a MGW short throw shifter and I am in need of the metal shifting rod in the lower shift box. I cant seem to find a part number for it or anyone selling one. Anything is helpful at this point. I will post a picture along with this thread too.
You can't buy that rod separately, your best bet is to buy an old box and steal the shaft out of it, if you do I'll give you $25 for the rest of the box as long as it's not cracked anywhere.
Yeah I went ahead and just ordered the entire box. I paid $75 for it. I can sell you the rest of the box. Its from a z06 so it has the metal bushings too.
