Default C7 Seat Conversion - Full Function Ventilation & Heat

I love and trust my Corbeau A4s. They fit the bill.

Though I did injure my back this year and it keeps coming back with vengeance and immobilizing me for a time.

I have all this time and money in my Z06 build and realize I may now require two things: a more finely articulated range of seat placement, and a heated pad for my back.

The C7 seats offer that and I'm looking to pick up a set. C8s also offer it but their styling is too far removed from the C5 appearance and era and simply don't look right in the car to my eye so I have skipped past them.

Of note: the C7 Comp seats look to have heavily influenced the C8 GT2 mid-range seats with only simple visual differences.

Having read a number of conversion threads, I am posting because I did not yet see the full answer as to how to enable both Ventilation (a great option in the summer!) and Heat.

I do not have to worry about a telescopic wheel so that is one headache skipped.

Wiring for basic power and ground is no worry.

What are the pinouts for Heat & Vent?
Do they require a canbus controller?
If so, what's the trick for that?
Or can I not wire them up directly to a switch?
Can they retain the 3 setting stages or would they be all or nothing?

Here is a picture example of a C7 Comp upper and a C7 GT upper. A notable upgrade in quality from the A4s while still hopefully providing support through turns.

All black is a safe bet, but these Kalahari covers would add some style to an otherwise all-black interior such as mine.

Much appreciated. We can put this to good use!

I tried ordering the four covers for the front seat feet but the order was nixxed today with the parts being unavailable. I had used part numbers for Brownstone pieces since that is what I found on here. Perhaps normal black still exist if I can find them. Otherwise, a scrap yard ought to.

One thing to note with those diagrams:

The displayed connector is only for 2018s and 2019s.

Older C7 seats have a different connector.

Man, it took forever to get mine and the driver outter was ultimately canceled and reordered from another dealer

All but my drivers outer came in quickly. The drivers outer came in about the same time your did. Every place I looked was on national backorder for the drivers outer; the two places I order from claimed to have them in stock at the time of ordering, only valley actually did.

The L shaped covers for the bolts? I bought 4 from Lee C, as far I can tell they are all the same, mine are black but interior is light oak, seat frames are black and black looks fine to me. Not sure why there are outer and inner part numbers.

Good luck with the conversion, but moving this over to C5 Tech.
