Default Fuel System wiring Qs

Buttoning up my blower build and just have a few questions.

1- Im running the racetronix RFPK-055-255 fuel pump kit. On the harness closest to the fuel pump connector itself it has 2 small grounds. The only place that makes sense for them to go by how long the leads are would to the fuel pump hat bolt, can that be? Is that a sufficient ground if a ground at all? Grounds circled in pic below.

2- Running a Kenne Bell Boost-A-Bump. No instructions with it.

Obviously 2 wires go to the hobbs, 1 of the wires to ground. But that leaves me with 2. Anyone have any intel one what i should be running them to? I assume 1 is input from the fuel pump trigger wire and then one is output to the fuel pump connector? So the BAP is "inline" ?

Maybe I am misunderstanding. Why would you not use the existing fuel pump ground location at G401 ...left wheel well frame?
