ABS Saga
Abs/traction control lights came on. Checked the DIC and it showed code c1218. reset code but it kept coming back. I pulled the control module and tried a local guy to fix it. Got it back and still not working. Sent it to ABSfixer and got it back as unrepairable.
I purchased a rebuilt one with a lifetime guarantee. Installed and no lights or codes. Drove the car locally for four days, no problems.Took a drive on the highway and about 70mph lights came back on. Used a scanner and code c1233 came up (right front sensor open/shorted)
Started car this morning and no lights. Ran a scan and c1233 came up as a history code. cleared code returned to the highway and lights and code are back. Besides getting extremely intoxicated I'm not sure what my next move should be. New front hub?
