C7 clutch questions.
I’m about to install a c7 clutch kit from Luk. Came with the everything except the bolts for the flywheel to crank. Stock c5 bolts ok? I have to order them regardless because I’m doing an a4-m6 swap.
Besides which bolts to use I’ve been reading about some supposed issue of this particular clutch causing shifting problems above 5k? Is this true? It came with my trans (it’s a new clutch kit), and I will replace it if it’s going to be problematic but if that’s not a normal occurrence then I’ll save my pennies and run it. I also have a brand new gm master cylinder, brand new c5 slave, remote bleeder, etc. I just don’t feel like pulling this more than once! Thanks guys.
