Driver's Side Door Lock Intermittent Unlock?
2001 coupe:
When leaving the gym last night I hit the key FOB to pop the hatch - no problem. I then hit the door unlock on the FOB and the passenger door unlocked, but the driver's side did not. I got in the passenger seat and hit the FOB unlock button and the door sounded like it was trying to unlock, but nothing. I then manually unlocked the door latch and since then both the lock and unlock appear to be working again (for now).?
What likely happened? Weak battery, door actuator, door control module (relay) mechanical binding, poor lubrication, etc.? Anyone experience this as a precursor to what eventually failed?

Likely the door control module. A $3 relay needs to be replaced. I think ABS Fixer does them for about $75 but it's been a while since I looked.
There could be any number of things wrong. I'd go over the possible manual stuff before I just tore the door apart and sent the module off.
