I need some help with my column lock bypass. (I have read through the column lock FAQ already)
The car (2001 Z06) had a column lock bypass installed 10ish years ago and it worked properly. The car sat in storage for the last 2 years with a dead battery. Now, When I start the car, I'm getting a "pull key for 10 seconds' message and a "service column lock" message. The car dies when I get over 2mph. I tried reinstalling the CLB following the proper installation instructions and I tried pulling the #25 fuse for 10 mins with no change.
Is it possible the CLB I have has failed? Where should I start on fixing the problem?

I had the LMC-5 and it worked for a while then issue returned. Discovered there's a "brown wire mod". After that mod, no more issues. Apparently the extra mod only needs to be done on some cars.
