Shift flare?
Hey all, i’ve recently had something weird with my 2001 automatic. When i am driving it and manually shifting (putting the shifter from the 1->2 and so on) it works fine until i go from 3->D, then there is a slight bump in rpm (about 200 at most) then it suddenly drops back down. It seems like shift flare to me but i am not sure. I’ve been monitoring my trans temps and they’ve been normal, what could this mean?
Edit: It only does it when i manually shift going from 3->D, not when i just put the car in drive and go
