I saw an ad on this forum for c5 Sun visors. My question is who is a good supplier for QUALITY Sun visors? I understand that some are much better than others and have the OEM appearance and light size but with better materials than OEM?
TIA
Any special tricks to removing old visors. I have watched 2 you tube videos and the process seems easy. Put a screwdriver in the slot on the ring and turn visor and the mount will pop out. No go for me. I guess I can beat them out with a screwdriver but that seems barbaric.
TIA

I can't imagine why yours will not come out. When the plastic rotates as the screwdriver stays vertical the plastic pushes against a piece inside the mounting area and must come down.
If your screwdriver is bending this way or that way instead of the whole plastic piece rotating then the plastic won't pop out.
Don't go crazy pounding on it and break your windshield. That would be incredibly annoying.
All these threads about sun visors have me scratching my head. Mine are perfect. Guess I’m a lucky one. BTW, ‘98 Vert.
Tou must have the rarest visors on the forum. Is your car a low mileage, garage only example? There has to be some reason for such low degradation in a sea of floppy eared visors.
I got mine from c&s Corvette. They are great and easy to install. The ugly warning label they have to put on them by law peels off easily too. My original visors were literally falling apart like rotten cardboard. Lyle from c&s is a great guy and will help you if you have problems with installing. He as an install video on YouTube also.
@Trebor2004 Get the Busidn brand@Amazon for C5 Corvettes. Fits '97-'04. $53.99/pair. EXACTLY what C&S sells for a lot more $$$. They are very nice. I saw them at C&S. Same brand......

I got those and the warning label is not easily peelable. It might be possible to get it off but I stopped trying after a couple minutes.
I guess the label isn't a big deal to me, because if you're going for originality (I'm not!) the OEMs had the label. Others may find that to be troubling, IDK. They do seem to be a much higher quality than the OEMs, which, admittedly, doesn't take much!
C & S Corvette Sun Visors. My OEM replacement failed after 9 years. These are SO MUCH BETTER! They go down and up easily without the squeak-and-stuck halfway. They go to the side window and STAY THERE, unlike the OEM, which I had to put Velcro to hold it at the window. Thank you!
Yep. Replacing the original visors with these was one of my first upgrades on my c5. The originals were floppy an deteriorating. A yellowish dust would float out every time I moved them. Easy to install and work and look great three years on.

Good news! Do they still hold the sideways window position?
I bought an inexpensive pair off amazon and they fit and work great, lighted mirrors and all, and they will stay put when you put them on the side, no problem.
Says they are currently unavailable, unfortunately...
