Default Mysterious Wire

I am working on my 04 Vette and discovered a mysterious wire that I am hoping someone can ID for me. I removed the driver-side rear quarter panel and found a single black wire running along a seam to the rear tail lights. The wire comes through the pillar on the driver side and connects to a green wire.

After I had some rodent damage in the rear I had to solder and shrink wrap taillight's, and in the harness on the passenger side was a black wire going to no where I could find that just dead ended. Called corvette repair shop and they could not tell me anything, posted on here and someone got pissed off because I could not read the wiring diagram he sent. Everything worked so I just put things back together. 2000 M6
good luck

That's an interesting recollection. Your specific issue was on the passenger side, and the OP has a issue on the drivers side.
....and no one got hostile or "pissed off" at you. A person can only provide so much technical information...if you are incapable of understanding the information provided, that's your issue.....the person providing help is also at a disadvantage not being there....espeically when no pics of your issue were posted.

@kmartinka ....I assume you have a coupe? I think that green wire goes to the antenna module. Can you trace the green wire in the harness loom?

Thanks everyone for the help. I am on track with antenna module idea. The dark green is coil supply voltage for the automatic antenna, which I do not have a power attenna. I will check this later today to confirm.
