I've NEVER changed mine, and I have enough fuel flow for a built LS7. I also have 145,000 miles on the car. The fuel socks in the tanks looked pristine when I put my new fuel senders in it a couple of years ago. If they're good, the filter should be good. IDK if maybe my part of the country has cleaner tanks at the gas station, or more filters at the pump, or what. I will also say I had a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee with over 350,000 miles with the original fuel filter, and a 2003 Buick LeSabre with over 400,000 miles on it with the original fuel filter. Neither ever had any injector or engine problems. So your looking at 3 vehicles that total over 900,000 miles, with no issues. Works for me........
Thanks Grinder11. I sure like your numbers, they work for me. I bought a Wix fuel filter a while back, it's going into the storage box. My LS1 is bone stock but I do feed it 94 octane, it's still available in my neck of the woods. She runs smooth as silk.
