I replaced my low beams with the Silver Star halogen bulb and thought they were a little low. I followed the Youtube video on adjustment for a C5, they are much better but now it seems my high beams point to the sky. Did I go too far? Thanks!
No, you didn't go too far. The C5's headlamps are crap. I had the same problem with the high beams lighting up the trees. I installed bi-xenon lamps, which are great.
mine did that when i had the original ACA housings. couldn't seem to have the low beams adequately aimed without the high beams being in the trees.
moved on to different light housings and they're fantastic. (KDTV)
you may wish to try the bi-LED replacements from sharplight or the kit from KDTV.
both kits are the endgame for c5 pop-up headlights.
there is a new non-pop-up kit coming from lucky garage which looks to have a great beam pattern/output but that kit is still in the initial preorder stage and i do not believe there are any users of this kit on the forum yet.
