So I have a 2001 z06 that's far from stock ofcourse, but for some reason ever since I got it couple months back it also has a super rough idle and wants to die out all the time and sometimes does stall out, I changed the plugs and wires and that did nothing, so I saw that sometimes the maf sensor could cause this, so I disconnected it and the car fixed itself, no misfire and no rough idle, I bought a brand new delphi one and once again brought the rough idle and hesitation at 1700 rpm back, then I disconnected it and it fixed itself again, then once again plugged it back in and once again brought the issue back, im super confused and don't know what to do.
As was mentioned is this car tuned ???…if it is take it to a tuner…I don’t touch tuned cars as most diagnostic guys won’t either for driveability issues because I expect to see certain values with either my scan tool or scope.

honestly I'm not too sure because I usually take people's words with a grain of salt on facebook marketplace but the guy did say it was bored to 5.9 and tuned aswell, here's a picture of the engine bay aswell just so you know the bolt ons and everything.

Well, the guy told you a story, you can't bore out a LS1/LS6 5.7 block to get 5.9 liters.
Without knowing the particulars of the tuning, you are just shooting in the dark.
Find a tuning shop willing to hook it up and scan it to see if they can diagnose it.
