C5 shifter noise
For reference have a 2002 corvette ls1 6spd manual with an mgw short throw shifter. I’ve been hearing a weird rattling sound coming from my shifter area at high rpm but only when the car is fully warm? When it’s still reading below 200° or so it doesn’t make the sound. I’ve suspected it’s just some loose bolt or something in the shifter. I just replaced my clutch fluid and I don’t know when the transmission fluid was changed last considering gm says it doesn’t need to be changed. I thought I’d reach out and see what the community thinks before I dig into my center console
