Default Can a decoupler pulley cause limp mode?

I replaced the TPS in the car and all traction control issues disappeared. Of course now that I'm on a trip 700 miles from home it keeps triggering. Then it goes off a a restart sometimes. It's Hit or miss.

Can a decoupler pulley that's going bad cause this. I originally changed a belt before the trip and the noise went away and now it is back. Anything I can look for or somehow keep this car from going into limp mode so I can get home?

Hard for anyone to help with vague information. No specific issue....no codes...symptoms, etc.

No, the pulley would not cause traction control issues.

Sorry for the late response. Unfortunately I actually got stuck the power steering pulley came off on my way back. No idea how it broke. That problem along with a snowstorm extended my trip by 2 days.

The error I am getting is a p1120 and 1220. I have to check again but I think on my scanner I saw a p1125. The TPS was replaced before my trip with an ACDelco. I looked at the plug for the TPS and it's sort of looks like the too far left terminals are a little bit darker. I tried cleaning them slightly during the trip but it didn't seem to work. The problem seems to be intermittent.

If I restarted the car it was hit or miss if the "service traction control system/reduced engine power" error came up. Once it didn't come up and as long as I didn't shut the car off it never went into reduce power mode. I'm assuming my next check would be on the plug side. I have to check again but I believe my scanner on the last one pulled a p1125 which is for the APP. I have not seen that the entire trip so none of these seem to be consistently hitting except the top two.

I'll look for the voltage check in the forum. Any other things this could be pointing to? I know there are other parts of the system that could cause reduced power but would they pull that error?

Also do I have to do a throttle relearn? The car sat for a year, battery went dead and was replaced.
