Default Low-profile supercharger

Does anyone know of a supercharger for C5s that are low-profile like the one on C7 Z06s? I’ve found tall Whipple superchargers and LOTS of centrifugal superchargers for the C5, but no flat positive displacement ones.

The LSA supercharger is as close as you will get to what you are talking about.
It is the supercharger used on the LS9 in the C6 and the Caddy CTS-V.
Takes some mods to get it on a C5 and it won't fit the stock hood.

I once saw a guy put an Edelbrock Eforce supercharger on a C5 and with a lot of work made it fit under a stock hood.

The only problem is that particular cathedral port E Force blower is one of the lowest power producing blowers ever made.

Are there any pictures of the different lids available?

Also the LS9 supercharger is different than the LSA used on the CTS V and ZL1 Camaro. LS9 is a 2300 and the LSA is a 1900.

While they can all be made to work they will not fit under a stock hood if that is what you are looking for OP.

I’m looking for a supercharger that’ll fit under a Corvette Creationz ZR1 style cowl hood.

Centrifugal if you don't want to buy a aftermarket hood.

I’m buying a hood, I’m just not sure how big of a supercharger it can house.

I'm running an LSA on square port heads with a ZL1 lid under a 4 inch JD cowl hood. Q

A hood like this one will suit your needs better than the CorvetteCreationz one.

Honestly, if I’m going with a bigger hood at cut cowl, I’ll be installing the TVS2300 Magnacharger kit that they offer for the C6.

I’ll vouch for the magna charger as well if you’re buying a hood. The low end torque can’t be beat on a daily driven car.

I prefer the look of the ZR1 hood, though.

Would it fit under the Corvette Creationz hood? Would an LSA blower do me better?

You'll need to compromise somewhere if you want a PD blower. You can compromise on power/efficiency and probably fit an Edelbrock E-Force under the ZR1-style hood. You can compromise on aesthetics, get a taller hood and fit a better supercharger

I suppose you could get the ZR1-style hood, find someone that works fiberglass, and have them modify the hood to have a bigger rise.

Does the E-Force have a noticeable whine or a way to make it whine?

If a Magnuson will fit under this hood, it should fit under yours.

Man what a burn for Callaway. They were modifying the intercoolers, rebranding and selling those Edelbrock kits on otherwise stock C7s as the 675 and 775 kits starting as $24k.

Sorry Tusc. I should have been more clear.

It's only the one specific blower for cathedral port heads. NOT ALL the E Force kits.

RPM on youtube several years ago tuned a C6 with that blower and it was dismal. This was long after it had already developed a reputation.
