Camber Shim Removal and Alignment Help Needed
I put about 2k on the car a year since I spend so much time at school. In short i'm not worried about accelerated wear.
I was looking at getting some camber (negative) during my alignment to tuck the tires better i’ve seen some posts about UCA shims and washer but i don’t really see a lot of people talking about it without racing. I’ve seen people mention running 0 and 1/16 toe and about -1.5 and -1 camber. I’ve heard lowering on age stock bolts change the camber as well but i don’t want to affect the suspension grantees too poorly. I don’t race but i do have weekend fun.
Should I remove the washers before the alignment and tell them to try these specs? Should i go more aggressive? I’ll update with pictures tomorrow . Ideally in the future I’ll move to a wide body in the rear and problem solved. Forgive me for any mistakes above i don’t have much knowledge on wheel alignment to say the least.
