i have this odd, random, cluncky noise in the front end area (i think)? My car is lowered and today i was just trying to see if anything was apparent underneath the car. Didnt really notice anything loose or undone, but then just for kicks went to the rear of the car and looked around and noticed that the bolts that you use for lowering were loose? Didnt think that was the problem but tightened them up just in case. Car seems to feel a little "tighter", but did not fix the problem!??? The cluncking noise seems to be most apparent when turning the wheel and/or hitting a uneven place in the road at low speeds. PLease help me find out the cause of this problem, THANKS VERY MUCH!
If I may, I also have a "clunk/ creak" noise in the front end which I fix today.
Mine was most appearant when backing out of my drive and applying the brakes before shifting into first.
Bolt torque. Nearly 80% of my front suspension related bolts and nuts were not to torque (after 35K mileage).
Grap the ole torque wrench and see what is up with yours.
1 - four x-member mounting bolts.
2 - four sway bar end link nuts.
3 - four upper and lower ball joint nuts.
4 - two tie rod end nuts.
5 - four sway bar bushing bolts.
6 - four leaf spring retaining bolts.
7 - four lower control arm/ cam nuts
8 - eight upper control arm bolts.
I think that's the complete list. I will be checking the rear suspension another day. Good hunting.
Thanks for the info. Snowman also replied on another board and mentioned something about brake calipers being loose. This i a great possibility since i just got a brake job done about a week ago. i think this will be the first thing i check. Thanks Very Much for the advice.

Re: Please HELP, front end noise? (stngh8r)
CHECKS THOSE BRAKES.... I have also found some loose components related to the front suspension. I get a clunking noise when making a slow, hard, right hand turn. Any ideas?
