Oil Pan Gasket replacement
Hey All,
During my harmonic balancer replacement endeavor, I noticed alot of oil crud on my oil pan. Upon further investigation I noticed bolts missing for the upper oil pan to block area. I am now going to change the oil pan gasket along with my balancer. I would like to know if there is any special alignment procedures as well as if I can support the motor from the trans bell housing without worrying about being crushed while removing the oil pan. Also are there any other parts that should be replaced while I am down there? Any tips and advice is appreciated.
