2002 driver seat control mod. doing funny movements
My 2002 convertible drivers seat is doing funny things. when i try to move the seat forward it responds correctly. When I try to move the seat backwards it moves back an inch at a time till it stops. When I try to tilt the front of the seat up it moves the back of the seat, when I try to move the back of the seat down it moves the seat backwards and the steering Columb forward. there are some other funny movements that are not as they should when you try other actions. I replaced the seat driver module and the bcm. I did a self-program of the bcm by using the information located on this site. anyone have an idea what's causing this. Thanks
When you have a scan tool connected does the seat respond correctly to the commands from the scan tool?
Thanks for your response. All i have is an OBD2 reader, but I put that on and the seat controls not behave as they should. I will add that the BCM has been replaced. Could this produce this problem if it has not been programmed by Chevy? I did a self-program as mentioned on this site. I believe that this could be the issue. When I put back the old BCM the seat operates correctly. if this is the issue, then how do I get the BCM PROGRAMMED
