Is there another vehicle that uses a sway bar bracket that will fit the rear of the C5? I'd like to find something quick if possible since we have some nice driving days coming up.
Bonehead move yesterday: replaced sway bar end links and bushings, got sidetracked, never tightened the brackets, went for test drive, right side gone. Rule of thumb: stay focused.
Yep, just confirmed with a buddy that has a chevy dealer, that those are discontinued anyway. Luckily, being a garage pack-rat has paid off. Found a set of brackets laying around that just needed the slighest bit of bending, and found a nut and bolt in my random box of nuts/bolts.
The factory brackets were design to capture and contain the bushing so that they can't move laterally on the bar itself. I would recommend that you keep an eye on those bushings just encase they try to work themselves loose from under those brackets. There are new ones on eBay for under $17 each, as well as clean used pair for about $21 shipped;
^^They must not have worked real good as I noticed on the C6 bar I picked up they have a collar outboard of each mounting bushing keeping the bar centered.

They look like Energy Suspension brackets.........
