I saw a video that said you could re-solder certain connections and it would fix the abs & the stability control. Took the part off and opened it up. There were 5 places where 1/8”round globs of solder were attached. I’m not sure if they are good or not. Also clear silicon was around the walls and between the components. Any thoughts about what I should do? Any help would be appreciated.
I soldered over the existing globs of solder. It corrected the issue with the EBCM for about a year. After it recurred, I repeated the soldering but before re-installing the unit it I cleaned off the mother board using alcohol and Q tips. It took me the best part of an hour to get all of
the crude removed. It has been working well for the past year. Test the mother board with a Q tip and alcohol, if you get any colour at all on the Q tip then you know it needs a thorough cleaning.

Please post a pic. "Globs" of solder suggests that some else has already tried to repair the PCB before. The "clear silicon" is called conformal coating. It is there to protect the PCB from moisture and contaminants. The PCB should be recoated if any repairs are done, but I doubt most of the short-cut-kings do.

The globs I was referring to were the original solder points.
What would you use to re-coat the mother board?
Watch a video or three on how to solder. A proper job would entail removing much of the existing solder and the new solder would be applied using some flux.
Soldering takes some practice to do it right. It's not hard but there are several ways to really screw things up (like overheating the component/board).

I agree, but I took the easy way. I've done a lot of soldering and figured I could get away with it.
