Today I had a problem that I have not had in a year when it happened once. When pulling off when the clutch is engaged suddenly the engine dies. It starts back up and will rev up but when the clutch is engaged the engine dies. It happened several times, so I left it for a couple minutes and it started up and ran ok. I did notice this time that there was a "service column lock" message that I did not notice before. Any ideas?

Your car is shutting off because of the column lock message. It's cutting the fuel at anything over 2mph most likely.
There are approximately a billion threads on the column lock issue over the years. The LMC5 from Compliance Parts is probably the most well regarded solution.

The same 2 mph fuel shutoff will occur if the Pull key wait ten seconds message appears and you don't pull the key and wait 10 secounds.Big Top Gt
