Hey everyone I am looking into swapping my alignment cam bolts. I have having issues with the rears coming loose over and over again. Even with them torqued to spec. This seems to be the same problem I used to get every once in a while with my Miata track car as the bolts would actually stretch. I used to get 10-12 good torques before the bolts would wear out and slip. Being that my Corvette was an autocross car and saw many alignments I am wondering if I am running into the same issue. The car has just rolled 119k. This time as this time the car toed in 3/4 of an inch while on a long trip and tore up my rear tires. So I am wanting to swap the bolts before I drop it off at the alignment shop again later this week and before I spend $700 on a new pair of rear tires in the next month or so. I found an old thread with these part numbers.
Bolt: 10254819 Cam washer: 10254818 nut: 11516382
Are the front bolts the same as the rear. I have had some issues with the fronts coming loose as well. So I just want to do a full set. Looks like I need a total of six bolts, cams, nuts. I am also seeing loads of aftermarket options. The car is just a daily street car but it does drive on a very bumpy road every day. Just tired of the alignment coming loose every 2-3k miles. So wanting to fix this as I drive the car 1-2k a month.
Really not looking for camber. The car is a daily driver and I have the camber set around -1 degree. It spends most of its life going 45mph for 20 miles a day.
