Default Sun visor hook replacement??

I know these things go bad. Have replacements. Removed screw. The things are stuck!!

It appears i have to tear the leather lining to get them out. Is this normal?

I seem to recall there being a trick to it (be at certain angle or something), but I can't recall what it was. I do recall it being kind of a pain, but no damage was necessary. Try a search on here?

Watch the video. You place a screwdriver in the slot, then rotate the visor arm and they pop right out.

Two years ago (I think)I bought replacements then did the removal 'dance' and finally was able to remove them. I did not install the new ones. I wanted to see if I missed them. The answer; NO! I enjoy more windshield visibility.

the video doesnt show what i am asking. I am asking about the small hook that holds the sun visor on the far end. When you close it, the little black clip that holds it in place between the rear view mirror and visor.

I can't find any videos anywhere ot anythign on here. Which is wild.
the video shows the visor clip. Im referring to the peice that is separate part altogether and is the small hook that holds the visor in place and is between the rear view mirror and the sun visor.
