Default ABS pump leaks

C5 Corvette 1997

I noticed today that ABS pump leak somewhere in this area (maybe).. there seems to be some kind of o-ring. Does this mean that i have to buy new pump, since there's no fault codes and it seems still working ? can this o-ring filled or fixed by using some kind of sealant/ epoxy etc ?

So you are not certain if it is leaking in this area? What o-ring are you referring to? I see two black caps on the bottom of the BMPV.

You must have x-ray vision partner. I am sure they are sealed in some way internally, but you would have to disassemble the BMPV to find out .

So the factory left them uncapped and unsealed from the outside, and your plan is to seal them with expoxy or RTV. Let us know how that works out.

i made some investigations.. this system should be DRY if i understood correct. But Couple years ago i did torque tube job, so It would be logical that Brake line is slightly lose somewhere and It will drop fluid down to these ”uncapped” which are located bottom of EBCM, but let see..

Leak is not coming from Brake line connections.. unfortunately it’s coming from those uncapped holes. I put there light layer of silicon and seems that leakege is decreased but did not stopped completely. Testing tomorrow and adding another layer.. maybe rtv or something else

That is not the intended use for sealant, but I reckon you are going to do what you are going to do.
