There are some oils (Like Amsoil) that exceed a given spec more than others. But on a street car, if you get anywhere near the wrong end of those specs, many things have already gone horribly wrong. Endurance racer engines etc are a bit of a different story, but no one here is running a LMP1 engine on the street
