I ordered some new Moog K6537 ball joints from Amazon, and the packaging looks a little beat up. I'm not sure if this is just from shipping or if they are returns. The plastic parts bags haven't been opened, and the ball joints don't look like they have been attempted to be installed. It just seems odd that the box is all grease-stained and torn, and the ball joint itself is not in its own bag. Does this seem normal?
BTW, the matching Moog upper ball joints, the HD greasable Moog K500134, are not the correct ones on Rock Auto. I ordered those, and they were the standard ones. I returned them and ordered the Moog K500134 from Amazon, but they are on back order, so I'll have to see how they look. I've heard from other people looking for these ball joints having the same issue finding the correct ones, so just an FYI.
Bought the same Moog part number on Amazon. They were free in the box with the sealed plastic bag with the remaining parts. The boxes where not as beat up, but it did look similar to what you got.
