Default F55 Module Question

Hello everyone. Wanted to throw this out there and see if I’m thinking right on this one. We’re in our first week of ownership of an 04 with the F55 option. On our initial test drive and driving it home, the ride seemed a little firm and switching between tour and sport didn’t seem to make a difference in handling / ride quality. Poking around the interior yesterday, I found the suspension module unplugged (both connectors). Just for the heck of it, I plugged it back in and we went out for a spin, switching between tour and sport settings again with no real change in the ride. Since there are no suspension error messages with the module disconnected or connected, I’m guessing there may have been a problem with the suspension for a past owner and the F55 option has been tuned out ? I do have a friend at a GM dealer with a Tech 2 that will do a scan for me later this week, just wanted to throw it out there and get some thoughts…thanks !

Start with a visual inspection of the shocks and see if they have wires and are connected.

You may have aftermarket shocks and F55 delete. Popular upgrade.

Thanks guys, should have done that first but I’m recovering from some foot surgery and I’m not too mobile at the moment : ) ! My son was over and crawled under the rear with a flashlight. He doesn’t see where the shocks are plugged in and he said there are two pigtail connectors near each shock that are not plugged into anything, so I’ll say the F55 option is deleted. Thanks for the responses !
