I have a 2004 commemorative Z06 with 30K miles. When I went to start the car the DIC scrolled through the following 3 messages:
1. service traction system
2. service ABS
3. service active handling
Additionally, the lights depicting a car skidding as well as the ABS light on the speedometer were displayed. After reading the owners manual it stated that I could reset each one of these messages which I did. After reseting, all messages on the DIC were gone as well as the car skidding and ABS light on the speedometer. However the manual did state that the car should be taken in for service to make sure everything is functioning properly. Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do? My sense tells me I should take it in to get looked at to be sure.
Find a safe area and try activating your ABS system by braking hard. If one or more of the components are failing this should turn the lights back on and set the codes again.
