Hoping to get some help. I have an 02 6spd when car is hot I have problems get car into 3rd and reverse. Only when hot. All the fluids were changed a year ago. Any thoughts?
Can you put the car in reverse with the engine off? If you can, then on level ground, engine off, transmission in reverse. Clutch pedal to the floor, brake pedal and parking brake both off. Start the motor and see if the car moves or wants to move. If the car sits still, hold the clutch a few minutes more to see if it holds.
No movement of the car would indicate the clutch is releasing fine, and blocker rings are suspect.
Car moving with the starter would indicate clutch is a problem, or at least part of the problem.

Thanks for the information.
Yes I can put the car in reverse when engine is off. I just did what suggested. The doesn't move when starting. I also started the car in neutral and sat with clutch engaged on a flat surface can did not move. Would blocker rings cause an intermittent issue. Only happens when car has been driven for long time. I appreciate your help.
It's not really intermittent if you have the same problem shifting once you have driven the car for a while, higher temperatures are causing the shifting issue.

Thanks for the information. When it happens intermiintermittently is because it does do it all the time. I drove alot yesterday and today and it didn't happen one. That's what's puzzling.
I’m afraid I’m at the edge of my knowledge base — familiar with looking for problems with the clutch and hydraulics. If you hadn’t already changed the transmission fluid I’d be thinking about doing so. My blocker rings are problematic, but it’s more often when the transmission is cold and second gear.
