[Headers] I Pulled the Trigger!
After much personal inner debate, research, hair pulling, cajoling and opinion polling, I've finally made up my mind and placed the order only an hour ago :D
In about 3 weeks, I should be the proud owner of a set of LGM SS LT Headers, X-pipe and O2 Sims :reddevil
I talked with Lou for over 45 minutes and after all I've seen, done and been told, I feel I've made the right choice :D
Mike Norris will be doing the install and we'll be doing same-day pre and post install dyno runs :D (current A4 with intake/exhaust). I can't wait to see what kinda #s we're gonna make and thanks for everything Lou :cheers: and NitroSuzie :cheers:
In addition, the LS6 Intake will be installed prior to the headers and 3.73 gears and a Yank SS3800 converter will be installed after :D

Sounds like you made a good decision.....I expect my FLP's in next week, I'm excited as you, and can't wait til I get them in and the tuning done:D

thanks guys...obviously wanted the most hp increase I could get and these seem to fit the bill....the dyno )and track ;)) will tell :D
that's the goal....bolt on 11s :eek: :D

I would probably opt for the same setup if I were header shopping again. My FLP's are serving me well, so I'll stick with them.

Congrats MG, this is Gary in Dallas. I live 25 minutes from Lou's shop, but never have been there. They are definately great headers and I am curious what your dyno will be!

no real deal unfortunately, although I tried ;) :D......I saved a little not going with the cats, but then the xpipe is $300 right back so....
If I hadn't gotten a good enough bonus from work to cover the cost, it woulda been a harder decision :)
What kind of deal did you get on the package? I might be in their market soon.

I hope you plan on replacing that XR-1 with a real exhaust if you're going to run no cats.
Even the tame Corsa Indy's are loud (even at idle) with no cats.

I'll be interested to hear how you do HP wise, as we have similar setups right now. Of course, I'm tapped for the moment after wheels + tires for my Vette last weekend, and a full custom stereo for my truck today. :eek:
