Default C5 Low Brake dust pads?

I have OEM AC Delco gold pads on my C5 brakes and the dust is almost as bad as my old Hawk HPS.
I no longer need high speed pads, just pads that don't need cleaning of my wheels after 50 miles, lol.

I heard Carbotech 1521 compound are great for low dust. Hawk HPS dust a lot, so do hawk HP+, and hawk 5.0 pads. If you like hawk, try the hawk ceramic, they were designed for low dust, and relatively inexpensive pad.

Hawk Performance Ceramic (PC) are low dust with a good bite still. I used to run them on the street when I had stock calipers.

What @Kubs said. He got me hooked up with the Hawk PC pads and I loved them for the performance and low/no dust.

The fact is none are low dust. The key is they use a lighter color and type of material that makes the dust now show.

Hawk and EBC both offer good pads and low dust. The Red EBC I have great success with..

I sell Powerstop at work and would not use it on a bicycle. Just not a fan.

Not sure what GM used factory but mine on the 02 are good for not showing dust..

My Canyon. It has Akebono. They are some very good pads and what GM used from the factory.

Ive seen the best prices on pads at tire rack. They offer hawk and akebono. I do HPDE like once a year, I’ve had drilled and slotted from stoptech, they cracked, went to AC Delco Gold slotted only, they cracked, now I switched to KNS brake rotors, quality looks great, I haven’t tracked it yet, but my hawk HP+ pads hardly squeak with the KNS brake rotors/ made by DBA and were only 320 shipped to my house for all 4.
