Good evening! Have an '04 Z06. I'm interested in knowing what scan tool might be out there that mimics the GM-TECH2. If so, are they real expensive or reasonable.. What I'm wanting to do is turn on the TPMS system (I've already bought and installed the correct Shrader 20117 sensors). .My understanding is I need to access this feature in the Body Control Module. Interested while I'm there to also turn on the twilight lighting function. I see the TECH2 scanners going for over $400. Would a tool that enables these features also allow access to the fan settings to come on sooner then the factory setup? Any of you done these with other than the GM-TECH2 scan tool? Or, should I just bite the bullet and pay a dealer to do this $$$? Pic of her after I did the fog light addition.
It is inexpensive but you need a laptop to use it with the provided software. The software works well once you get it installed correctly. They have probably updated the install software since I installed mine a few years ago. There used to be problems with windows 10 and USB driver's.
