Default ABS and TCS light on and several fault codes

C5 1997 - got the following fault codes today:

#1. 10 pcm - P1571
(P1571 ASR Desired Torque)

#2. 10 pcm - P1644
(P1644 Delivered Torque Output Circuit)

#3. 40 pcm - B0844
(B0844 BCM Temporarily Inhibit ABS)

#4. 60-ipc U1040
(U1040 Loss of Communications with TCS

any ideas where is the problem? I think It might be Bad grounds. I live in the Finland and the winter is pretty harsh and car was not in the warm garage over the winter, there might be some corrosion…

battery test results with multimeter:

power off: 12.77v
power on: 14.09v

Noticed today strange squeaking brake discs and now when the fault is on, no squeaking. (Maybe air humidity thing) Steering is heavy now.

And one weird thing also happened today, the air conditioning suddenly turned off and then started again. (it was at full power)

i asked about this copilot, and It gave ground points locations..for these codes.. very useful

Looks all related. If all the fuses are good, start with 12v / ground checks at the EBTCM connector. Unfortunately, it is under the rear of the car, so you will need to get it up on jackstands or a lift.

thanks! I checked fuses with multimeter (continuity test and ohm test) there was couple fuses under the hood which were not working correctly, i removed and cleaned those. Then i checked all fuses, they work correctly but they were corroded so i replaced all fuses under hood including maxi fuses. in the passenger footwell, i found one blown fuse which i replaced. Next task is to replace all those also.

But the orginal problem was solved with this operation!

I have wondered several times why the battery power is floating on the DIC display and what could be the cause. Now that too is solved, as it is now relatively stable.

thank you!
