Default New rear tires time...

Has anyone here tried the Toyo Proxes TQ streetable drag radials? They look good, and have good specs, except they are a bit porky at 32lbs for the 315-30-18 size.....

I looked at those last summer when I replaced my MT ET Streets in that size. I ended up going with Nitto NT555RII in 305-35-18.

Nitto drag radials worked for me, I finally tried mine on the street. I don’t have the power you got. 340 wheel horse, yank3200, and 3.73 gears, no times, but was just messing around in Mexico. I was able to brake stall the converter to 2,000RPM, I didn’t try any higher then that, treated the gas pedal like an on/off switch and it worked really well after the tires warmed up a bit. I hear the nittos have a stiffer side wall then other drag radials, and would probably be better if your street driving. I hear the back end walks with M/T ET streets.

never tried Toyo’s

I've seen nothing but positive reviews for the TQ's.
They are what I will eventually be going with for track times.
