I have a 2002 C5 convertible and the hidden headlight assembly on the passenger side, when closed, doesn't match the body lines of the car as well as I'd like. It's up slightly in the front and a little too close to the bumper. It's not just a cover problem as the cover us pushed down in the front as far as it wil go. I don't really see any adjustment points on the assembly and I can't find a diagram with instructions for aligning. Does anyone know if there's a trick to adjusting the assembly or do I have to go the body shop, bend the bracket route?
The white hex adjustment screws are for up & down & screws in the slots are for side to side adjustment, takes a while to get adjusted but those are the 8 points you need to adjust to get good fitment.

It's a Fiddley Thing...
On and off a few.times with the cover...
Know that you can get it just about perfect! Just takes patience
My car was built in the last half an hour of 2001 Production
The Underside of the Headlight cover was signed and dated by a guy on the line
I just finished doing this on installing my carbon fiber covers, takes a lot of patience. It took a lot longer than I want to admit. Also remember this is a 90s designed American car when finishings weren't very good to say the least. I would focus on function and not rubbing over having everything lined up perfectly and even.
