Default 1999 mn6 alt ##
1999 C5 5.7L V8 LS1 alternator with the part number 10246634 is this for MN6 or Auto. Found the number on ebay. Buddies alt out and needs to be rebuild. But if i recall theirs 2 differnt alt. Auto and MN6 we need MN6???

Yes i check the sticky but 1997 to 2000 are the alts the same for auto and manual. Don't say

If I remember correctly, p/n 10246634 (110 amp) is for ALL 1997-2000, and 2001-2004 manual

**** not bad, 175 bucks out the door rebuild. Chicago grand ave CFL starters and alt.
I'm assuming thats a good deal

Beware of unknown rebuilds. There have been a lot of issues with rebuilt starters. Maybe alternators, too?

Just be careful / suspicious in your ordering. Many duplicitous listings out there pretending to be for Valeo regulators that are actually for chinesium copies.
Beware “replacement for” or “compatible with” wording in the ads.
